XXXII Congress of the European Confederation of Mediterranean Mycology (CEMM) | Norges sopp- og nyttevekstforbund

XXXII Congress of the European Confederation of Mediterranean Mycology (CEMM)

–––––– Oslo, Norway  9 – 15 August 2026 –––––––

We are very happy to welcome you to a week of exploring the Norwegian Funga! August should be good timing for species richness and variety, if the season develops like last years.

The congress will include NSNFs annual Field Mycology Gathering from Monday 10.8 to Wednesday 12.8. Normally around 40 of our most dedicated members take part.

Our venue is Oslo Folk High School «Rønningen», which in the summer converts to a conference centre. It is located close to «Marka» (translates to «The Field»). Marka is the forests that surrounds all of Oslo and is protected with building ban from urban development. Here you find 80% of all species in Norway.

Transport will be arranged for all excursions. For those that will explore the city on their own, there are busses from the hotel from early morning to midnight to city centre, with easy transfer to tram or metro.

We will have  5 microscopes, 2 stereo microscopes and some dehydrators available for common use during the congress.

Check the preliminary programme.

Companion Programme: There will be tours and activities for accompanying persons every day. Details will be presented later.
